1. Course nature and tasks

"Animal Gametes and Embryo Bioengineering" is currently an elective course for most majors related to life sciences. It is also a popular research content in the field of life sciences and is the basis for relevant research. Therefore, taking it as a bilingual teaching course is in line with the long-term goal of the internationalization of graduate training. "Animal Gamete and Embryo Bioengineering" is a course that teaches the basic principles, basic laws and related technologies of animal reproduction. Animal Gamete and Embryo Bioengineering is a professional elective course. The subjects of the course are mainly animal sciences in our school. There are mainly full-time international students studying for a master's degree in the College of Technology, the College of Life Science and Technology, and the School of Veterinary Medicine, as well as some domestic master's students. The number of electives does not exceed 20, and the total class hours are 24 hours, mainly based on theoretical teaching. The subject should have a certain basic knowledge of bilingual listening and speaking, and a certain basic knowledge of life sciences, mainly engaged in or planning to engage in scientific research related to the course content. The subject areas of the subjects cover animal genetics and breeding, animal production systems and engineering, animal medical engineering and biology.

"Animal Gamete and Embryo Bioengineering" is based on the undergraduate level of animal physiology, animal anatomy and embryology, animal genetics, and is based on the undergraduate compulsory course "Animal Reproduction".
